Process
1 - First, the initial consultation:
After we receive your Inquiry, whether you’re looking for maintenance or construction landscaping our project manager, or our designer will reach out over the phone and discuss the scope and budget of your project.
Your time is precious, and we don’t intend to waste it. This call allows you to ask the basic questions for the project and for us to lay out taking in consideration all the information you share and have a clear idea how we can help.
After the call, if you feel that Friends of Gardens Landscaping is a good fit, then we will schedule an on-site evaluation and consultation.
2 - On-site evaluation & consultation: landscape maintenance
A residential landscaping Maintenance project doesn’t have to be overwhelming. This meeting takes place at your residence and should take around 30 to 45 minutes. Here you’ll meet the Maintenance project manager, and we can get to know your needs for the project.
Our job is to listen to what you want and provide our expertise to make that a reality. Please invite to this meeting any others that are going to be part of making the final decision. We want the final product to be uniquely yours.
After we understand needs for your yard, define your budget, and gather all your input, the project manager will provide a writing proposal within 3 to 7 days from the meeting date.
3 - On-site evaluation & consultation: design/construction
New construction and extensive renovation projects require on-site evaluation and needs assessment. The detailed landscape plan begins with an appointment with you and your designer and/or Construction project manager at the landscape site.
Ideas are then discussed, plants and hardscape materials are proposed based on the area to be landscaped, and concepts that you would like to incorporate in the design. Please invite to this meeting any others that are going to be part of making the final decision. Our designer then develops a blueprint and estimate for the landscape project. Depending on the size of the project this process can last as much as 2 to 3 weeks.
